What is Textured Art?
Textured art is a creative painting style where children use thick acrylic paint and palette knives to build layers, patterns, and raised effects on the canvas.
My child has no art experience. Is that okay?
Absolutely! Our classes are designed for all levels, including complete beginners. We’ll guide your child step by step, ensuring they feel comfortable and have fun along the way. 😊
Can my child choose their own design to paint or draw?
For teaching purposes, we provide a set of images for the kids to choose from. This helps our teachers guide them through the steps and techniques more easily, while still giving them some creative choice. 😊
Can I sit in with my child during class?
We totally understand wanting to stay close, especially if it’s your child’s first time. But our classes are just for kids; this helps them grow in confidence and enjoy their creative time independently.
Can all my kids be grouped together?
Our studio has an open layout, so your kids will still be able to see each other during class. We place children with different teachers based on their age and learning needs, which helps them get the most out of the session. 😊
My child enjoyed the Art Experience session. Can we join again when we’re free?
Of course! You’re welcome to join anytime. Each session features different subjects, so your child can try a new medium or revisit a favourite one for a fresh experience.
What’s the difference between a Trial Class, Regular Art Classes, Textured Art Painting and Art Experience?
- Trial Class: Think of it like a “taster” session. It's great for kids who want to dip their toes in and see if our studio and teaching style are the right fit before diving in long term.
- Regular Art Classes: This is like signing up for music or dance lessons. With regular sessions, kids get the time and guidance to build real skills, go deeper into techniques, and create more detailed, meaningful artworks.
- Art Experience: Imagine a fun day at a museum or a baking class, just one session to explore, play, and enjoy. It’s perfect for busy families or kids who want a creative break without any ongoing commitment.
- Textured Art Painting: This is a one-of-a-kind workshop that focuses on creating art that is both tactile and visually stunning. Using thick acrylic paint and palette knives, kids explore texture, layering, and bold expression. It’s perfect for young artists who love to get hands-on and try something different from traditional painting.
