Elena Yeo is a visual artist and art educator with over 15 years of international teaching experience. She’s passionate about creating inclusive, welcoming classrooms where students of all backgrounds can explore their creativity and build strong artistic foundations. Whether teaching drawing, digital art, or printmaking, Elena tailors her lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities.
She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Iowa, along with advanced degrees in Art and Anthropology from New Mexico State University. Over the years, she has taught at community colleges and schools across the U.S. and Morocco, guiding students in subjects ranging from design and photography to traditional drawing techniques. Beyond the classroom, Elena has worked as a freelance photographer and graphic designer, curated art exhibitions, and participated in artist residencies.
She’s also certified in online teaching and community college instruction, always seeking new ways to connect with and inspire her students. Elena has been honoured with several grants and awards, including recognition for her printmaking and teaching excellence.
