In April to June 2017, we raised funds for Dakota Adventures/Cassia Resettlement Team. These funds contribute to purchasing essentials/ supplies to help better living conditions for the elderly in Cassia Cresent and fund #cassiapotluckparty as well. #cassiapotluckparty, a monthly affair, is an effort to get elderly who have not been out of the house, to gather and hopefully reconnect with old neighbours. Artify Art Jammers! We’ve raised $643.20 in February ‘17 thanks to your kindness given during our art jamming sessions. February’s initiative was to dedicate our funds to making care packages to give those who don’t have a roof over their heads. Throughout March, we’ll be building these packages and we aim to give them out in April. On 5 March 2016, we partnered with Hope Centre to enhance the quality of life and social well-being of seniors in our community through our food distribution programme “Breakfast with Love” (BWL).
