Step into a world of layered emotion, bold texture and unapologetic brushstrokes. In this hands-on texture abstract portrait workshop, you’ll explore the techniques behind Brandon Lillibridge’s striking, tactile style.
 
You’ll experiment with palette knives, thick mediums and loose, intuitive mark-making to create portraits packed with personality and feeling. No rules, no pressure, and definitely no need for perfection. Just the space to explore your own messy, honest style.
 
All skill levels welcome. Come curious, leave with a portrait that’s anything but flat.

    • 1 x Canvas (30cm x 40cm)
    • Acrylic paints
    • Palette knives
    • Brushes
    • Texture paste
    • Aprons
    • Pencils
    • Erasers
    • Water containers (to rinse painting tools)
    • Cloths (to dry painting tools)
    • Plastic carriers (to bring home your painting)

     

    Participants will bring home their masterpiece at the end of the workshop.
