Trial Class (for Regular Art Classes)

Trial Class (for Regular Art Classes)

In light of the COVID-19 situation, all our children activities are suspended till 30 April 2020. You may still book a trial class for a future date.

We offer trial classes with the purpose of letting your child experience what our art class is like, the environment, and our instructors.

If your child loves our space, and us, we are more than thrilled to have them on board for our Regular Classes.

Children will be creating their own masterpiece on an A3 canvas panel with acrylic paints.

Our trial classes are just a sneak peek into a tiny fraction of what we offer in our Regular Classes!

Our Art Trial classes are for children 4 - 12 years old, valid only for first-time children who have not attended a trial class or regular kids class before. To avoid any distractions, parents are not allowed in the studio during the trial class.

You may take this time to run your errands, enjoy a drink at one of the many cafés around or explore our quaint neighbourhood. Check out our Food Blog for some recommendations!

A confirmation email will be sent to you within 3 - 4 working days after registration has been made.

Artify Studio reserves the right to make any changes without any prior notice.

Here at Artify, we create the opportunity for incidental learning, helping children embrace mistakes throughout the creative process.

We seek to help children realize that there are learning opportunities amidst what may first seem like failure.

We take them on the journey to realize that just like in many every day life situations, much of art is about being bold enough to attempt and discover interesting new things along the way as we learn.

At Artify, we teach children to embrace their mistakes through incidental learning, helping them realize that there are opportunities to learn despite what may first seem like failure.

We take them on the journey to realize that just as in many every day situations, much of art is about being bold enough to attempt and discover interesting new things along the way as we learn.

As teachers, we choose to take on the role as facilitators by using thought-provoking questions that elicit creative thinking and problem solving while children engage in creating art.

We guide but never instruct. We discover together but never offer solutions.

Together, we embark on a creative journey with each individual child in a positive learning environment, helping them grow to love and embrace art for all that it is.

Let us take your 4 to 12 year olds on a creative journey each week through our regular weekly art classes that are handcrafted to suit the needs of each child according to their learning needs, making the learning process an enjoyable one. In order to do this, we pride ourselves in a 1 Art Instructor to 4 Little

Artists ratio, enabling us to offer adequate attention and appropriate guidance that each child requires.

We invite children from ages 4 to join us in our positive learning environment that will help them grow to love and embrace art for all that it is.

  • At Artify, we teach children to embrace their mistakes through incidental learning, helping them realize that there are opportunities to learn despite what may first seem like failure.

    • No judgement. Art gives every child the opportunity to develop the confidence to explore, problem-solve creatively and become more open-minded and accepting towards their community and the society at large.

    • Flexible programmes. Our art lessons are far from ‘one size fits all’. Instead, we handcraft each programme in order to facilitate the learning process of each child, tailoring our teaching methods to suit the needs of each child. In order to do this, we pride ourselves in a 1 art instructor to 4 children ratio, enabling us to offer adequate attention and appropriate guidance that each child requires.

    • Decision making. Kids are allowed to choose their own colours and materials. It's ok to have an eight-legged elephant, a blue sun... etc.

    • Collaboration. They must share responsibilities and compromise to achieve their common goal. Kids learn that their contribution to the group is integral to its success — even if they don’t have the solo or lead role.

It's ok to be weird or quirky, we love you as you are!
